Chicago Catholic News: Loyola Grads Take "Men for Others" Motto to Soccer Field

Reporter for the Chicago Catholic News, Katie Drews, writes about the UI Founders' commitment to service and their application of their high school's motto - "Men for Others" - to their every day life.

Urban Initiatives is a member of the Up2Us national coalition that seeks to increase the impact of, and access to, youth sports as a tool or positive youth development. WIth more than 200 member organizations, Up2Us is focused on increading the quality and quantity of youth sports programs, involving more children in sports-based youth development programs.

Christ Church had generously awarded Urban Initiatives a grant to be a benefactor of their 85th Annual Fall Sale on Thursday, October 1 from 7am-3pm. The event will be held at Christ Church Parish House at the corner of Oak & Maple streets in Winnetka. Please visit the wonderful sale and support Urban Initiatives!
