Wow! What a Soccer Ball! We'd like to thank Optimus for putting together another incredible video for the event. This was yet another record-breaking year thanks to our wonderful supporters. This was our highest grossing year to date and, we feel, the best Soccer Ball party ever.
The evening seemed to work so beautifully with many old and new friends in attendance, tons of folks on the dance floor, table sponsors spoiled by the lovely reserved area, lots of laughs and smiles at the photo booth, great beer tasting with Goose Island, amazing food thanks to J and L Catering, Storck and Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels, and tons of buzz around the best auction ever. So thank you to all who helped make this such an amazing evening!

Urban Initiatives will once again host our annual fundraiser, 'The Soccer Ball," at Salvage One located at 1840 West Hubbard St, Chicago IL, 60622 between Ashland and Damen Avenues, just one block south of Grand Ave. The party will run from 7pm. to 11pm. and tickets are $100 in advance and $110 at the door. Tickets will be available starting in December.

The 3rd Annual Soccer Ball was our most successful fundraiser to date. All together we net over $100,000 and 599 attendees came to Salvage One to support UI at the event and celebrate the program’s success. Thank you again to our Soccer Ball sponsors, donors, Host Committee, Board, volunteers, and attendees. Special thanks to our Party Planning Committee: Paula Armstrong, Maggie Belliel, Connie Falcone, Jutta Hilpuesch, Jenny Morgan, and Katy Reichert. We are confident that we have the best fundraising team around. You helped us exceed our expectations and the event was a ball!
