Our Mission

The mission of Urban Initiatives is to actively engage children from under-served communities in extracurricular activities in a safe and structured environment. Urban Initiatives promotes education and wellness and instills in each child the importance of these factors to lifelong development and self-sufficiency.

Urban Initiatives achieves its mission by establishing before and after school soccer programs that provide quality instruction, nutrition education, a disciplined and structured team environment, and coordinated communication between teachers, parents and coaches.

Join Us For a Bulls Game!

Chicago Bulls "Tickets To Happiness" Fundraiser for Urban Initiatives Saturday, December 6th - tip-off is at 7:30pm. Tickets are $40.

Forty tickets are available. To purchase please visit: www.events.org/happiness. First come first serve!

Game Details: The Bulls host the Washington Wizards at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St. Seats are in section 321.

During these tumultuous economic times the folks that are most affected are the economically disadvantaged. Urban Initiatives runs health and education programs for 270 at-risk youth and needs your support to continue programming.
