Urban Initiatives has a long-term relationship with the wonderful agents at @properties. This year we are thrilled to have been selected as one of four worthy organizations to receive funds from the 2010 Friends & Neighbors Community Fund! Thank you to @properties for your commitment to being ‘Agents for Change’!
The @properties Friends and Neighbors Community Fund was created out of the desire to give back to Chicago – helping to support the city that has allowed them to grow and prosper. They believe in working for change and growth in the neighborhoods where their agents live and work. One of their focus areas is youth development and we are thrilled to get them involved with our health and education soccer program!
As a recipient of this fund we will not only be able to continue running our program in the Chicago Public Schools but also will have the unique opportunity of hosting group volunteer days with @properties agents. We cannot wait to further develop this partnership!
