Last Friday, December 3rd the program participants at Jenner Academy got together in the cafeteria for their end of season party with Coach Ish and Coach D. The party was particularly special for the Urban Initiatives founders because Jenner is currently our longest running program – 7 years! Several program graduates who now serve as Peer Assistant Coaches came to the party to celebrate with the team.
In addition to recapping the season and spending time with their team and coaches, the Jenner kids had the opportunity to try a variety of fruits and vegetables. Carrots and watermelon were the overwhelming favorites. It was a very special afternoon.
