Urban Initiatives is thrilled to announce our newest partnership with Invest for Kids! We are honored to have been selected as one of seven nonprofits who are beneficiaries of this 2016 gift.
Invest for Kids, founded by Ron Levin and Ben Kovler, is a charity that is focused on bringing the Chicago Investment Community together in order to provide support for underprivileged children in Chicago. IFK seeks to fund nonprofit organizations which exhibit strong leadership, have a dedicated board, and can show measurable results and scalability.
“It was an incredible opportunity to share our work with the IFK team over the Chicago summer at one of our most committed schools, National Teachers Academy. It is clear that Invest for Kids truly understands the needs of Chicago’s children and is willing to step up to make a difference, ” said Julie Chelovich, Managing Director of Urban Initiatives.
