Urban Initiatives invites you to the Corporate Challenge Cup, a corporate soccer tournament featuring friendly competition, team building, and representatives from 24 Chicagoland companies. An estimated 168 young professionals from Chicago’s leading corporations will gather at Humboldt Park to compete in a winner take all soccer tournament. At stake are bragging rights for a full year.
The event is a charitable 7 vs. 7, co-ed, adult soccer tournament and is a great mix of friendly competition, non-traditional team building, and fun.The Cup is open to a wide range of skill levels and ages, and all proceeds are used for direct support of Urban Initiatives’ programming, participants, and community development efforts. Additionally, music, food, and beer make for a fun-filled afternoon.
The Corporate Challenge Cup is a unique event that features a true cross section of Chicagoland companies. The 2017 Corporate Challenge Cup included teams from: Accenture, Balyasny Asset Manager, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CBRE, CDW, Grainger, GTCR, IMC, JLL, Kirkland & Ellis, Limelight, McDermott Will & Emery, McKinsey & Company, Northern Trust, Northwestern Mutual, Optiver, PwC, Raymond James, Stout, Storck, United, and William Blair.
