The following schools are currently offering Urban Initiatives' Work to Play Program. There are volunteer opportunities available at each of our twelve school sites.

Crispus Attucks Academy

Days and Times: Tuesday and Thursday before school 7:30 to 8:45am. Friday after school 3:00 to 4:30pm.

On-Site Program Director: Mr. Christian Nze is the On-Site Program Director and is also an upper-grade special education teacher at Attucks.

J. W. Von Goethe Elementary School

Days and Times: Tuesday and Thursday before school 7:30 to 8:45am. Friday after school 3:00 to 4:30pm.

On-Site Program Directors: Mr. Jose Feliciano is the On-Site Program Directors as well as the music teacher at Goethe.

Friedrich L. Jahn School

On-Site Program Directors: The On-Site Program Director is Mr. Gerardo Salinas who is also a Spanish teacher at Jahn.

Edward Jenner Academy of the Arts

Days and Times: Tuesday and Thursday before school 7:30 to 8:45am. Friday after school 2:45 to 4:30 pm.

On-Site Program Director: Mr. Daniel Isherwood is the On-Site Program Director at Jenner, as well as a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Urban Initiatives.

L.E.A.R.N. Charter School

Soccer and class 09 156.jpgLocation: 1132 S Homan, Chicago, IL 60624. At Grenshaw and Homan in the Lawndale community.

Days and Times: Monday, Wednesday & Friday after school from 4:00 to 5:15pm.

On-Site Program Director: The On-Site Program Directors at L.E.A.R.N. are Ms.Erin Daher who is also a fifth grade teacher at L.E.A.R.N. and Ms. Tiffany Fadin who is also a kindergarten teacher at L.E.A.R.N.

Arthur A. Libby School

Morton School of Excellence

James Otis Elementary School

Dr. Jorge Prieto Math and Science Academy

William Claude Reavis Elementary
